Year 2009
The year 2009, we managed to stay put in one place for more than a year, which beat our last record of 9 months. It has benefited the kids being settled in one place with regards to their education. Here are some of the things that happened in 2009:
Snow came early and the kids enjoyed playing in the snow. Our Christmas was nice and warm and enjoyed spending time together. [more]
Joshua started 'big school' this year. He was excited and have been doing well. He received a superpupil award and have also moved up rapidly on his words set that they give him at school. Joshua is also in the top reading group in this class.
Ethan moved to a new school this year. He was very excited to start there. He was given more accelerated learning and he goes to a year ahead of his class for Maths and is doing very well. It is a good move for him and given him boost of self-esteem.
We had some lovely weather during Spring time and have enjoyed going out for walks
We've been back in the UK for a year and a half now and have settled nicely. It's been the longest place we have stayed in one place since we were married. The children have all settled in their school and are happy in their routine. [more]
